Steve is the Executive Vice President, Senior Lending Officer, and Director of First State Bank of Athens.  He has been with First State Bank since 1999.  His background includes over 30 years of Texas banking experience.  An expert in all areas of lending, Steve works to ensure that customers are given the best possible service.

Steve is actively involved in many civic organizations, and has held leadership positions with the Athens Chamber of Commerce, Henderson County United Way, CASA, Athens Country Club, and the Athens Rotary Club. He and his family are members of the First Baptist Church.

Prior to joining First State Bank, he completed his education at Baylor University.  He is a native of Ennis, Texas, who enjoys playing both tennis and golf.

Steve and his wife, Donna, have two daughters and make their home in Athens.
