Ronnie Davis is the Vice President and Branch Manager at our Mabank branch, where he has led the team for 23 years.  He joined First State Bank in Athens as a loan officer 26 years ago after working at First National Bank of Commerce.  He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Texas State University (now Texas A & M -Commerce) and completed advanced banking education through the Bank Operations Institute at ETSU, as well as the Intermediate School of Banking and Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Through the years Ronnie has enjoyed the opportunity to work as a “country banker,” helping residents and businesses with loans of all types, including consumer and agriculture loans, commercial loans and residential and commercial mortgages.  His leadership at the Mabank branch extends into the community, where he participates in Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce.  He also has served as the President of the Van Zandt County Emergency Services District for 14 years and has been on the board of the Tri County Library in Mabank for 20 years.

Ronnie and his wife raised their three adult children in Mabank and are proud to call the community their home.
