Armando is the Assistant Vice President – Loan Officer at our downtown branch in Athens.  He has worked in banking for more than 11 years, starting as a teller and working his way through virtually every department of the bank, from new accounts to credit analyst, to his current role as a loan officer.  Armando is a specialist in auto loans, personal loans, business loans, and real estate loans.

He received his degree from University of Texas at Tyler and also attended Trinity Valley Community College.  He completed advanced education through the Texas Banker Association and has received the TBA Lending Certificate.

Armando is a tireless volunteer in the Athens community.  He is a Reserve Police Officer for the Athens Police Department, coaches Tee-Ball for the Athens Baseball Association and is a coach for Henderson County Soccer Association.  He volunteers with the Henderson County Help Center, the East Texas Arboretum and was tapped to serve on the Henderson County Re-districting Citizen’s Advisory Committee.

Armando and his wife have two children and make their home in Athens.
